Jared Freid:
Jared Freid is a New York City based comedian. Originally from Needham, Massachusetts, Jared ventured away from the Boston suburb to rural Pennsylvania and attended Pennsylvania State University. While attending the school, Jared quickly became the "Tailgate Czar" of his fraternity. A passed down designation to run his house's weekly tailgate. It was at that position where he grew a once modest event into a school wide phenomena. After graduation, Jared hung up his Elvis wig (nobody knows why the tailgate czar wore an Elvis wig) and entered the world of finance. It became clear that selling life insurance and annuities wasn't Jared's passion. Instead, he spent most of his days writing emails about nothing to friends and submitting some short form essays around the Internet. Four years after starting in the financial world, Jared broke the news to his parents that he'd be leaving to become a full time comedian. Once he revived his mom, Jared made his way into the New York comedy scene. Since then, Jared has been featured on TruTV, MTV, NFL Network, AXS TV, and The Today Show. He's known to a cult following as "JTrain" thanks to his viral videos and weekly columns he's written for BroBible, HeTexted, FlockU, TotalFratMove, and BetchesLuvThis. In addition to all of the TV appearances, columns, and viral videos, Jared hosts "The JTrain Podcast," which is consistently in the top 100 of the iTunes comedy charts. You can find all of Jared's work at his website JTrainComedy.com.
Angelo Lozada:

Hailed as one of the top 50 Latino comics in the U.S., Bronx native Angelo Lozada attributes his upbringing in the boogie-down for his comedic stylings. His career has included stand-up, sketch comedy, writing, theater and film. His television stand-up credits include NBC’s Showtime at the Apollo, BET’s Comic View, SiTV’s Latino Laugh Festival, and most recently, Martin Lawrence Presents: First Amendment on the STARZ cable television network.

Housed at the famed Nuyorican Poet’s Café for twelve years, his acclaimed comedy troupe, Nuyorican Rule appeared in Showtime at the Apollo and veteran comic Robert Klein’s New Joke City. As co-founder and head writer, Lozada wrote and performed about urban experiences, challenging race, class and gender stereotypes through comedy. This revolutionary comedy troupe has inspired numerous other urban comedy troupes and is often recalled and invited to return to large and small stages.

In addition, Lozada has numerous writing credits on different media, including animation, digital, print and commercial. Lozada has been a head writer on the animated series, Lugar Heights, featured on Galavision, MTV3, MUN2, MTV3, a head writer for comedynet.com, and monthly columnist focusing on Latina/o culture for the New York Daily News. He has also found commercial success in head writing for a national advertisement campaign for Burger King.

His acting experiences include both theatre and film. In 2009, Lozada was invited and accepted to perform in the New York Stage and Film’s production of A Shoe Story, written by acclaimed New York City Hip Hop Theater writer/artist Ben Snyder and directed by In the Heights’ Tommy Kail. His film appearances have included Destination Unknown, Arrangement, The Start-up, and Blind Leading the Blind, one of the 2007 New York City’s Latino International Festival’s featured short films.

Proud to perform in English and Spanish, Lozada enjoys using his Puerto Rican heritage to unite folks of all backgrounds to understand the human experience through laughter.
