The HOPE Program transforms lives by connecting New Yorkers living in poverty with training, employment, and career advancement opportunities. Men and women walk through our doors facing overwhelming challenges – communities of poverty and violence, low educational attainment, histories of substance abuse and so many more. What they all share is a deep determination to claim their second chances and build brighter futures for themselves and their families.
HOPE consistently connects over 70% of graduates with employment and we achieve job retention rates among the strongest in the industry. But the true impact of our work is reflected in the words of our grads: “When I came out of prison, no one would give me a shot – except for HOPE. Now, I have a job that I love and I’m a supervisor. I’m not done growing. For me, not even the sky is the limit. I built my spaceship at HOPE. They helped me put it together piece by piece and they help me out as I fly.”
