Description: Do kids make you laugh? How about laughing for a kid? COMEDY FOR A CAUSE is an annual, Star-Studded Stand-up Comedy Show & Live Auction! Held at Gotham Comedy Club in New York City, it sells out fast, so get your tickets quick.  This year’s show will be on Tuesday, February 11, 2014.  It will be open to the public and will feature comic geniuses Gilbert Gottfried, Artie Lange, Tom Cotter, Jim Norton, Michael Che and Harrison Greenbaum!

Proceeds from the show will benefit New York's PS 11 William T. Harris Public Elementary School.
Our goal is to raise $100,000.

Why? PS 11 is an elementary school located in the heart of Chelsea in Manhattan. It serves a wonderfully diverse student population, whose parents and community are responsible for the PTA’s annual budget of $650,000. Without this core financing, 850 of New York's smallest citizens would go without fundamental elements of education, including Science, Math and Literacy, Art, Music, Dance, Professional Development for Teachers, Computers, and other enrichment opportunities, such as the School Library, Farming, Gardening, Chess, Robotics, After-School Care and on and on! Please invest in your future by investing in these children.

Friends and Family of PS11 is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. Your gift is tax deductible. Families and students of PS 11 thank you for your consideration and generosity.

There is a VIP Cocktail party from 6-7pm. You must purchase a VIP ticket for entrance.
