About Alyse Kenny
 
Alyse Kenny is a stand-up comedian, actress and Emmy Award-winning television producer.  
She performs stand-up comedy regularly in New York City where she lives with her cat and is also a new member of the NYC-based sketch comedy troupe, Cult Comedy Picture Show. Alyse can be seen every month at Gotham Comedy Club in two original comedy shows she created. Recently listed in The New York Times, ALYSE KENNY'S STORYTALKS! is Gotham's new storytelling show featuring the city's most eclectic storytellers including comics, actors, Emmy-winning writers, and celebrities recorded live for her fan-favorite podcast. Alyse produces and hosts the show which includes trivia and prizes she usually finds in her parents' basement. She is also the creator/producer and standup comedian in ALYSE KENNY'S IT'S A CHARITY THING! showcasing Gotham's funniest comedians to raise money for a different charity each month. Alyse has raised funds and awareness for dozens of charities and her shows have been featured on NY1, in Lifestyle & Charity Magazine, Comedy Matters, and Women Around Town. As an actress Alyse has played a variety of roles on ABC's hidden camera show, "What Would You Do?" Other favorite gigs include a comedy sketch on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,being the host of ABC Digital's "Alphabet Soup,hosting segments for GMA NOW, playing an over-the-top soccer mom for Shout, getting down and dirty on The Bio Channel's "I Killed My BFF," dancing with a mannequin for Hanky Panky, testing contestants on The Science Channel's "Memory Games?,and she will soon be in a ridiculous comedy sketch on BRAVO TV's next season of "The Real Housewives of New York City." Before performing full-time, she won an Emmy for her work as the Audience Producer of "The Dr. Oz Show" and worked on staff for four years as The Audience Coordinator of ABC's "The View."

Exodus Transitional Community is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing supportive services to at-risk, justice-involved, and formerly incarcerated women, men, and youth. With locations in East Harlem and Poughkeepsie, Exodus has served over 5,000 individuals making the transition from incarceration to society.
