The tour was the subject of a self-titled documentary film for NetFlix and Showtime and a series on Comedy Central. They were the first comedy show to be a part of the world-famous Coachella Music Festival. The Comedians of Comedy wrapped their last tour in the fall of 2007 when their DVD, The Comedians of Comedy: Live at the Troubadour came out. The concert film also premiered on Comedy Central.

He opened for Aimee Mann and Michael Penn on their 2000 Acoustic Vaudeville Tour, touring the U.S. as well as London and Dublin. He’s a regular panelist on Late Night w/ Conan O’Brien and co-hosted on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The ChildCare Action Project, a Christian-based website, gave both of his 1/2 hour specials “red” alerts, especially for Patton’s focus on “male demon anatomy”.
